Fun Fact: Legal name is Forrest, not Woody. Woody’s just been a nickname since birth. Also I studied abroad in Hong Kong!
Woody is a Computer Science major and active brother of the Beta Mu chapter of Delta Tau Delta fraternity at Tufts University. This Spring he participated in a study abroad semester in Hong Kong, where he learned a few words in Cantonese. He’s also modeled for the LUX Chinacare Fashion Show which helps fund life-changing surgeries for orphans in China.
Among our group of counselors this year, we also have a Boston native and former student at University of Toronto, and a Ukrainian- U.S. permanent resident with an American MBA and extensive experience working with international students.
Our camp is generally laid-back, allowing students to rest. But for high-achieving students, we can schedule you to meet with one of our professional Ivy League tutors. Please note tutoring is not automatically included, and comes at an additional cost.
Yuwen received her PhD from Yale University and her Master’s in Applied Mathematics and Bachelor’s in Mathematics from National Chung Cheng University in Taiwan. She is currently teaching Math classes at Harvard University and has previous experience tutoring high school students. She draws from seven years of teaching and tutoring experience.
Andrea holds an MA in Anthropology from University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BA in Latin American Studies from University of Pennsylvania. She specialized in tutoring Latin American and Chinese university-level students in advanced ESL and accent reduction. She previously taught Anthropology at University of Wisconsin, and currently holds a position as an ESL tutor at Northeastern University, but still loves to take private clients.
